Elané Kruger

Occupational Therapist

Elané completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of the Free State in 2022. "Occupational therapy is more than a profession, it’s a promise to help people live life to its fullest." I chose Occupational Therapy with a clear purpose: to help others reach optimal function and live their best lives. My passion lies in hand therapy, where I combine precision, care, and creativity to support recovery and restore independence. I also have a strong interest in ergonomic training and Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs), empowering individuals and workplaces through practical, tailored solutions. Whether I’m guiding someone through rehabilitation or optimizing a workstation setup, my goal remains the same - enhancing quality of life through thoughtful, evidence-based care.

Marzanne Rautenbach

Practice Owner & Occupational Therapist

Marzanne completed her degree in Occupational Therapy in 2012 at the University of Pretoria. She completed her diploma in Hand Therapy in 2017 at the University of Pretoria. She also qualified as a certified Lymphoedema and Wound Care Therapist through the International Lymphoedema and Wound Care Training Institute in 2016. Marzanne Rautenbach Occupational Therapy opened its doors in 2016. As such she had a deep realisation of her responsibility as a steward of what God has entrusted her with: her family and her practice. Marzanne is humbled by how the practice has grown by God’s grace and continues to evolve into something greater. She cannot but conclude: The Lord is good! The Lord called Marzanne to minister through her occupation as a therapist and mentor: to help others and have compassion with them during their most trying times. "True healing comes from knowing and having a relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Our bodies are temporary dwellings and may suffer from disease and disability but our hope, when built on Christ, is eternal." This is the message Marzanne hopes to convey to all her patients and staff. Why Occupational Therapy? Occupational Therapy is a diverse profession – treatments for any part of the body at any age. Marzanne enjoys this diversity and has found her passion treating: • Hand conditions • Acute neurological conditions • Burns patients • Lymphoedema patients. It brings her great joy to help people restore their independence in Activities of Daily Living (ADL), Instrumental ADL, leisure and work. It is of utmost importance to Marzanne to guide patients and their families through the recovery process. Col. 3:23 states: “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord.” This is what drives the practice to strive for the highest levels of quality care, building meaningful relationships and understanding with patients.
